As of tomorrow, it will be 13 years and counting.  Every morning I wake up thinking I'm pretty darn lucky.  Through all my shortcomings and faults, he still choses me.  And I'm so grateful for all the highs and lows we have come through together.  He is my very best friend and there is no one I'd rather be with.  Still so in love with that guy.

To celebrate, we went to one of my favorite places.  We often take Sunday drives with this place as our destination, because it is just so beautiful.  I want to live here.  It's just the perfect place in my opinion.

It was overcast and sprinkling off and on.  My favorite weather.  On the way home it was down pouring so bad, we had to pull off the road.  Lightning and thunder too.  So romantic! 

The menu consists of 2 options for each course, so Kevin and I each order a different thing.  That way we can taste both options.

The food at The Farmhouse is all organic and mostly grown/raised on property.  It is some of the most delicious food I've ever eaten!!  This goat cheese, peach jam, and pecan stuffed chicken was fantastic!

*Just when I thought the night could NOT get any better, I walked into our bedroom after taking the sitter home, and there sitting on the bed was a totally unexpected present (no,  not Kevin in a ribbon).  Something I've been needing/wanting/lusting after for quite sometime (no,  not Kevin in a ribbon).  A new camera!!  I have been without a camera since Mother's Day.  That has been painfully long for me.  Before now, my last camera purchase was when I was pregnant with Boston.  I've never been so surprised!!  No more cell phone pic blog posts.  

Thanks for an amazing night honey!  I love you!  And I love us!
