A little more from our 4th

A little uninterested
(The wiffle ball teams.)

A little squirt.

A little friendly fire.
(How the wiffle ball rejects entertained themselves.)

A little candid.
(The cheerleaders watching from the stands.)

A little Pre-Fireworks fun!

 A little look.

A little lesson.

 A little glove.

A little flash of light.

We had a BBQ Sunday 7/3, with a typical backyard wiffle ball game (rules that are totally made up depending on whose yard you play in).  Kevin's parents, and Trent and Audra were able to be there.  Monday morning we attended the parade, which was awesome, but really made me miss my Huntington Heritage Days.  In the afternoon, we had another BBQ at Jenise and Shawn's house, then we all went home and had naps. That evening we went to the middle school to watch fireworks (Thanks Johnsons/Plauche's for letting us crash your party!!).  Seeing the Plauche's extended family REALLY made me miss being home. ( It is our tradition to to have all our extended family home on the fourth and fireworks at our middle school).  It was really fun, though.  The kids had a great time, and so did we!!

Fun Things about PTC 4th:
Golf Carts for as far as the eye can see, all decorated for the 4th
Church Bands on the Floats
All the Old Cars
Fireworks over the lake (although we watched them elsewhere)

Things I missed about Huntington:
My parents, all my brothers and sisters (and their spouses), and all my nieces and nephews!!
The Snowie
The booths
Running into old friends
Navajo Tacos
Fireworks and Snacks on the hill (and the thrill of a possible brush fire)

A little something to leave you with.......

I was reading Family Circle yesterday and they listed Peach Tree City as the 2nd best place to raise a family. (: I of course thought of you and the Mathenys and the golf carts and beautiful pictures you always post. I'd love to visit sometime!!
