I was going to save this until July 24, but decided to share it now. It was sent to me by my momma, and since it's one of my very favorite scriptures, it made it all the more special. Not to mention, the words by Elder Jeffery R. Holland (also a favorite).
We tend to discount the legions of angels attending us, cheering us on, watching over and protecting us, in our own personal trials. While the Mormon pioneers struggled physically, it is eerie how their physical struggles seem to mirror our inner struggles. Make no mistake. We have the same divine help, and if our "eyes were opened", we too would see hosts of Heaven right beside us and round about us. What comfort and strength that gives!
"They that are with us, are more than they that be with them."
