This child is so funny.

This past week:

With all the Halloween decorations out, she comes to me with a question:

"Mom, why is every skull you see smiling?  I mean, you never see a skull frowning. That's weird that they are ALL happy."

I Lu-uh-uh-v pecans.  I have used them in every dinner I've made this week: in a pasta dish, in a salad, and lastly in some turkey burgers which was the last straw for my kiddos.  Brityn picks at it and says:

"Are these....NUTS in here??"

Looking at my narrowed eyed expression, she feels the need to quickly recover with:

"That's......creative."

I love her.  So much.  Kick in the pants that child.
