Solve the problem

One of my mother's favorite sayings is: Solve the problem. It is nonsense to her to complain about a problem, when you could be using that time to solve it. Instead of the "why's", she asks "what can be done?". Truth be told I'm horrible at keeping my complaints to myself. I know people don't want to hear it, and I doubt most of them even care. Why is it taking me so long to learn to jump right to the part where I start doing something about it?

My goal this week is to be more like the umbrella and less like the little black rain cloud. I'm going to let things run off. I'm going to accept that it's raining, but I don't have to get wet. I'm going to worry only about the area of MY coverage, and I'm going to wear blue. I look good in blue.
