Uncle Michael told Corbin it was high time he learned how to mow a lawn. So, he spent the morning teaching him how. Corbin was more than willing.
He actually did such a good job that Grandpa hired him the next morning for $5 an hour to mow the leaves off the lawn and to help him with other chores around the yard.
Boston helped supervise.
The kids decided to have a lemonade stand out in front of Aunt Nat's house. They sold cucumbers, summer squash, and zucchini. Each for 25 cents. Pictured above: Brityn, Dace, & Corbin.
The fresh vegetables ended up selling better than the lemonade believe it or not. Who in this town doesn't have at least one variety of squash growing in their garden? Apparently several husbands and kids who bought them for their wives/mothers. Nothing says I love you like a summer squash.
Our first, best, and last customer of the day!
Boston was extremely proud of himself for finding this "matching" shirt and shorts in the suitcase. He wanted to wear this ensemble every day.
The kids were consuming the product at a break necking pace, and were very poor at concealing the evidence, as shown here by Chloe.
Grandpa's idea might have stemmed from this scene of eight little helpers and one customer. The filler uppers (Brityn and Channing) were charging them 25 cents for a glass a quarter of the way full. The whole scene was extremely funny. Pictured are: Aunt Amber, Chloe, Boston, Dace, Taija, Corbin, and lucky customer. Channing and Brityn are in front of the cooler handing the gentleman his drink. The kids had such a fun time! Stay tuned for more.

I love it! I was way sad we missed this little business propeganda. Profits must have been good though, judging from the items purchased from the doller store!
I ment dollar store!
I think this was a really cute idea with the vegetables and all. I love how Chloe kept calling it a 'handstand' instead of a lemonade stand.
Great idea veggie stand I would stop and buy them too. You would think in Hawaii that there would be veggis stands everywhere to buy all kinds of cool things. Think again there are none. Someone told me that you can't grow them in your back yard some law of something but I never checked our yard is to small anyway.
I def would have stopped to buy. I frequent the Harwood Farms stand down the road on a weekly basis!!! It was so good to see you down in Castle Dale. You look absolutely fabulous! How amazing that you can stay the same cute, little Tif from so long ago. I need your anti-aging secret!!!
Cute post of all the kids. Corbin was a hard worker. I was impressed at how long he stuck with it. dad got some good hours out of him. The lemonade stand was a big success. Channing tried not only telling the customers they didn't have to give her their quarters but that she was going to give them a few dollars in change. Don't let Corbin know, he might fire her from ever working at one of his stands again.
Hey Tiffany! Looks like you had a fun vacation.....did you come to Utah? It is funny that Dawson and Corbin have the same taste in shoes. When do you guys start school? Mason starts in a couple of weeks, and Dawson is going to be off track soon. Good times.
