Down on the Farm

Boston had his first field trip to a farm last week with his preschool  class.

  We got to:

go on a HAYRIDE,

hold a live tarantula (not me are you kidding?  Just the brave little kiddos.  Grandma Stream would be so proud!),

feed baby farm animals,

including a new baby calf.  I want one.

We got to build a scarecrow (did you know farmers have been using them for over 3,000 years?) by picking out pants, shirts, face (notice the dazzling earrings) and a hat,

pose for lots of pictures with the cousins,

got "culturized" by........

this very southern Indian,

inside this real tepee

Before we left we got to pick out a pumpkin!!  We had a great time.

It's kind of nice being able to go everywhere with the youngest kids WITHOUT all the arrangements of getting a babysitter and everything isn't it? Looks like fun! Tiff, I forgot to get you Ade's address! I'm so sorry! I'll find out and e-mail you!
