Patience

Boston wandered out of bed just as I was getting the older two out the door to catch the bus.  I heard some tinkering in the kitchen and when the kids were safely at the corner, this
is what greeted me as I went into the kitchen:

If I hold real still, her attention will be drawn to the items on the counter.  Does she see them?

YES!  She has spotted them.  Do you think she will actually dish it up for me for breakfast?

Come on, come on.......

Yessssss!

Happy pick-your-own-breakfast day Bostie!

How could you ever tell that face no. We just might have to try that one morning. Sounds interesting. Thanks for the B-day wishes. Pictures were great the canyon was beautiful. Is there really a life free of messes and responsibilities? I am afraid my b-day won't consist of that we are in the middle of a kitchen floor redo. Yes I said redo! Yuck!

Boston is so cute. How could you ever tell that little face no. Always a favorite at my house too. Do you remember where we first had Rice Krispie floats?

Wasn't it at some restaurant?

Ohhh. Cute little man. I too would never be able to tell him no to anything. I have a too have a blanket sniffer. I love it. That was very clever of him to do that. He is so darling. I too love rice krispie floats. I do not have them very often. I usually do not ever have those two items in my house at the same time. Lucky Bostie!

Awwwww! What a clever little guy! I loved rice crispie floats! I don't think I have really introduced my kids to them yet. I don't know if I should if you know what I mean!!!

First of all, he is darling. Love his face in those pictures. You can tell exactly what he is thinking. Priceless. Second --rice crispy floats? I've never heard of such a thing. Do you blend it together like a shake or just pour it in a bowl and eat as is?

T said...

No blending necessary. The ice cream will melt in the milk. Let me know what you think! Come on Kel, be brave.

There is nothing better then a "yes" to a request for a rice krispie float. You're a good mom. He looks so cute in those pictures. I love how you captured his emotions in each picture.
And yes, we had them first at a restaurant and I think it was JB's.

Sorry Tiff, as good as I'm sure it is, you know I am NOT that brave. I don't do milk and I especially don't do melted ice cream! HOWEVER, my family would die for it. I'll let you know what my BOYS think! Ha-ha!

Yes Tiff and Amber you are both right. It was JB's. Thats funny to think that that would be a breakfast item on any Restaurant menu. But I guess we are talking 20 years ago. :(
