Field Trip

Brityn's enrichment class got the opportunity to go to the:

They have been studying civilizations, and got to tour their Egyptian, and Roman exhibits.  It was fascinating!  Our tour guide had to hurry through our session.  I was sad to see her go.  She had so many interesting facts and back stories.  However, she might have felt like she was being shown up by one little girl in our group, who knew everything and then some. She kept raising her hand and commenting (sort of stealing the tour guides thunder).

Brityn finally got the Lunchable she has been begging for, for lunch.  I understand the draw of the neatly little packaged tray.  A full meal in one neat little compartmentalized container (including dessert) .  I packed myself one as well.  But, I forgot how nasty those things were!  The only bright spot was the Reese's that came with it.

I was so glad to be able to spend time with Brityn although she was making me a nervous wreck.  She kept putting her hands all over the class enclosure oohhing and ahhing, and was all but licking the cases. She was hugging the ones she could get her arms around, closing her eyes and saying "wow, this is amazing".  Dramatic much?

There was one room full of gold and precious jewelry.  One little girl in our group loudly declared, "I'm gonna smash one of these cases, and steal su'um."  Not Brityn, suprisingly.

*Thanks to my awesome sister in law for saving me and taking Boston for the day so I could spend it with Brit.

She is so gorgeous! She looks more grown up with each new picture. What a fun time. The lunch was always the funnest part of any fieldtrip. I even still think it is to this day! What a fun day!

It was my pleasure. You know we love your little Boston, well and the other two as well, to pieces.
