Atlanta Temple Rededication

With thousands of people attending this open house, they place booties over our shoes to help protect the flooring.  We decided to get a bootie pic :)

After 2 years of waiting, the Atlanta Temple has finished reconstruction and renovation, and has opened it's doors to the public for a 3 week open house.  It has been a lesson in taking something for granted, having to drive nearly 4 hours to the next nearest temple, while Atlanta was being renovated. I teared up several times as we walked through. It is beautiful.  It is peaceful.  And, it is a place where all worldly cares can be set aside for awhile.  It is a place to refill our spiritual wells.  I have been twice already, and if you are in the Atlanta area, and would like a tour, please let me know.  I would love to take you.  April 23, will be the last day for tours.  The temple will then be rededicated to the Lord and closed to the general public.
