Some Fries!

Several weeks ago at the ball park, Kevin waited patiently in line at the concession stand, for the worlds best fries.  People who don't have any other reason to come to the ball park, stop by and wait in line for these fries.  They are simply THEE best: perfect crispiness, seasoned perfectly with Lawry's.  They even give you cute little yellow ketchup cups.  When it was his turn to order, he simply stated:  Some Fries?  Dear Sweet Tammy Concession Lady put her face in her hands and just stood there staring and smiling at Kevin, blinking expectantly.  Finally concluding there may have been a miscommunication, Kevin said:

K:"Could I order some fries?"

STCL(Sweet Tammy Concession Lady): "OH, honey!!  I thought you said,  SURPRISE!!"

Things got a little awkward.  She had been standing there patiently waiting for her surprise, and Kevin had nothing.  Not only no surprise for her, but actually requesting she whip up some fries for HIM.  Sad.

Isn't it amazing how easily things can be miscommunicated?  And then the rumors start, and spread like wildfire.  Along the way, things get either watered down, or "extra ingredients" are added to the mix.  Panic ensues, and this huge snowball of miscommunication has been set in motion.  It's true, you can really only believe half of what you hear.  I personally believe that is a gross exaggeration.  I think it's more like 15% (if I had to put a number on it).  Give people the benefit of the doubt.  Be more forgiving and less easily offended.  Go to the source.  And do it all with love. That's a GOOD surprise.  SOMEFRIES!!!
