Kevin had to take a "business trip" this past week to Greenville, South Carolina. He tried really hard to act sad he was leaving us........until he left the house and sped like a bat out of you know where to get to the airport. Why you ask? Let me give you a few items on the agenda:

1. Racing brand new BMW's (they are manufactured there. Aren't they supposedly foreign vehicles?). They have different driving courses on which you are free to do as you wish. They give you a head set, and tell you to go have fun. Anyone that knows Kevin would understand my trepidation. We have only just recently owned an "off road vehicle", but have been off roading in almost every vehicle we have owned. He drives like it is a NASCAR race, and that everyone in the lanes next to us is competing with him for the grand prize. Every stop light is a starting line no matter what kind of car is next to us or who might be driving (just one of the reasons no drinks are allowed in our car). I remember one time an elderly man actually flipped him off. The good news is he survived, and the car did too. The bad news is, he wants a BMW.

2. Golfing this course. Looks like torture doesn't it? Poor guy. In any case, we missed him and we are glad he is back home.

Poor Kevin! He has it really tough! Glad he had a good time and that you and the kids survived! Brian was gone all week too...but sleeping in his trailor working until 1-2 am trying to get a job finished. He really does "work hard for the money!" It's great that our husbands make a honest living...that's what counts!
Sounds like Kevin has it hard on those tough buisness trips! That is so funny though. It is hard however having them gone at all, and even worse when you know they are enjoying a wonderful trip/vacation, while you are home dealing with the daily hubub. I guess it is okay for our very hard working husbands to have this once in a while.
Tough Break! Oh well, maybe he'll have a better time on the next "business trip" (lol). Just a little reward for his hard work!
Souns real ruff. I bet he just hates those business trips. I agree with Amber...Just a little reward for hard work and stress!!!
I agree with Aut, I hate having them gone, and knowing they are having fun while you are dealing with things at home. Oh well they deserve it!
