Since it is Father's Day, I wanted to dedicate a post to the Dad that lives in our home. He has a great sense of humor, and can have all of us just rolling. On one occassion, he was playing tag with Corbin in Walmart. Corbin ran up behind him and when Kevin went to run away, Corbin grabbed Kevin's back pants pocket. The pocket ripped away from the pants all the way down to the ankle. Instead of getting angry (and after we all had a good laugh), Kevin took the flap and tucked it into the back of his jeans until we were done shopping. He can make screaming kids smile, and diffuse situations. He loves to imitate them when they are throwing a fit, and they get a big kick out of it. The kids want to go with him everywhere, and he is very good about taking them when he can. He is, in the words of John Mayer, the weight of their world..and mine. He is religious in making sure we have family prayer both morning and night. The best time of day for the kids is when he gets home from work. He has a special whistle that he does the minute he walks in the door, and they all come running. He has changed diapers, and done laundry when I've needed the help (and even sometimes without being asked). Thanks for being such a great Dad, Kev. Well all love you so much. Happy Fathers Day!

What a great post! I had the idea to do the same thing...but somehow it never got done! Miss you guys tons!
Your hubby is a great guy. I love the story about the pants pocket - remember that one! We like to imitate our kids when they throw fits too! Of course, they thought it was funnier when they were younger - now it's just majorly annoying (still fun for us though)
I laughed at the Wal-Mart story. That's pretty cool he had a good attitude about it. Cute picture of Kevin and the kids. What a great dad!
