Things that do what they claim to do

Nothing burns me more than when I fall victim to scheming advertising.  I think that instead of a money back guarantee (where the fine print is somewhere you wouldn't possibly think to look, haven't read, and you now don't qualify for), another option should be to grab those scheming frauds but the shirt collars and give them a good shaking.  Yes,  I HAVE ordered things off the T.V.  I HAVE been convinced that I won a U.K. lottery, and I HAVE at one time owned a QVC account.  Of course these were back when I was young and naive.  Now that I am a few years older, wiser, & wrinklier (another arena where good money has gone wasted.  These lines on my face??......... ARE STILL HERE!!!), it makes me appreciate when things really do work out.

~Wool Dryer Balls~
These are 100% wool balls that you put in the dryer with your laundry.  They cut your drying time in half!!  I ordered my 2 of etsy.com, but you can make them yourself.  They really do work.  Because, WE ALL want an excuse to get the laundry moving along faster (not really, but at least it cuts down on energy costs).

~Suave Hair Care~
Suave sleek shampoo (orange bottle), and vibrant shine conditioner have turned this head of animal fur into a manageable mane.  Pre-Suave, I had great hair approximately 2 inches out of my scalp and then it went very much ary from there.  I have tried very expensive lines, and nothing seemed to help.  After wasting so much money for nothing, I decided to go back to the cheap stuff, and what do you know?  Lovely locks!! Suave professional line includes products that are comparable to the expensive name brand stuff.  I was pleasantly surprised.  Although I must admit my all time favorite Suave flavor is Strawberry.  One sniff of that stuff and my childhood comes rushing back.

Have you tried any products that have turned you from a skeptic into a believer?

I'll have to try Suave!! Although, I'm afraid nothing will help this hair of mine. And the dryer balls...didn't even know there was such a thing! When I do laundry, I like to get it over with as fast as possible and I hate waiting for the dryer every time. Thanks!

I know not everything is what they claim it is but I do love some of my QVC items. They have a bathroom cleaner that is the best stuff I've ever used and I love my cooking pans and bakeware. But ya - everything else we have from QVC usually breaks!!!

I am going to go buy some strawberry suave today just for fun! I do love their sleek and shine line as well but I am a Pantene girl-- that stuff is incredible on my hair, my fave is the moisture collection and the deep conditioner, my hair gets so silky soft!...I will try the wool dryer balls
Great post thanks!

I'm excited to try those dryer balls. Drying the laundry is always the most annoying part to me because I get in the mood to do laundry and by the time the clothes are done drying the mood is done and there the clothes sit.

I am going to have to try those dryer balls, I have never even heard of them. Now if they just made something to fold all the socks and underwear. I have to admit I wait to wash the whites last and they never get folded we usually end up looking for our socks in the laundry basket for the week.

Mand- you are not alone. What is it with white laundry? My kids have the same amount of colored socks and underwear, but it's something about one huge gob of white that is just completely overwhelming!

The dryer balls are a cool idea. I'm going to have to try that one. The PedEgg is another product that does what it says. I didn't believe it until Shay Jenkinson said she used one. I bought this weekend and used it. It's better than getting a pedicure at the salon.

This is good to know! I cant tell you how many bottles of shampoo and conditioner I have that are half full, and yes it has to be the good expensive kind... So thanks for the advice.

Tiffany - I hopped over to your blog from Elena's. We miss seeing you guys, every time we drive past your elem. school, the girls tell me who goes there. I had to tell you thanks for the info. on the dryer balls. Dryer sheets bother Cardyn's skin, so I am definitely getting these, I even found a tutorial online on how to make them, and might make them for our traditional "home-made" gift this year.
