A pirates life for me

Boston had his first game on Saturday! He did pretty well considering this is his first year. He can hit okay, but needs work on his fielding skills. He just kind of sits back and enjoys the show. It's so funny to watch the little boys this age play ball. Someone from the opposing team hit a ball to the outfield and our infield emptied completely and every single team member ran after the ball. It was a pirate pile up. So cute!

After exactly 45 minutes, he was tired, hungry, bored, and wanted to go home. I am actually shocked he made it that long. Promises of after game snacks got him through the remainder of the game.

He does get excited to play, and was thrilled when he saw the #4 (also Kevin, and Corbin's number) on the back of his jersey.

My cute little pirate!

The pictures are great! I love the perspective shot of how big the mitt is compared to how small his body is (and I could go on and on about the hat). What a handsome kid!

What a handsome little pirate! In Jenise's blog the pictures of Boston on them looked like he was relaxing and enjoying the game. I can't believe they start them so little...they are adorable!

Too cute! Harry used to umpire for this age group. He said they would do the funniest things. One would see a bug on the ground and say something and the rest would run over to see it completely forgetting the game itself. He used to get a big kick out of them. Hope he has a lot of fun.
