Expect the Unexpected

Late one evening as I headed up to bed, I was met by this on my door knob.
It didn't say anything but "hi".  Just a little clue something was suspicious.

I opened the door to find this............
a trail, if you will, made out of books and squares of toilet paper.

The trail led to my bed where there was this note........
Cleverly written in a pirate accent: Pre "par" yourself!!!

I noticed the bedding had been disturbed.  I pulled the covers back to reveal this.......
It's a good thing I didn't dive in blind!

My kids are so hilarious.

How cute:) That was pretty nice of them to make you prepared so you just didn't dive right in!

Pretty darn cute kiddos! I can just imagine Corbin doing that! I better not let Tyson see this...it will surely give him some great ideas! Glad you weren't injured! :)

I guess I have to concede that what goes around does actually come around. Does anyone remember the whisk-in-the-bed trap of '94? Call Jaylin if you can't!

Only you would remember that Jess! I guess the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree!!

That's so funny. I love the randomness of it all. The simple "Hi" to begin with and the "prepare yourself" threat at the end. The trail is funny too. (Let's line up some books and then throw little pieces of toilet paper in between them) Your kids are the best! Thank goodness for blogging so you can have pictures and narrative of these priceless moments.
