At Corbin's last baseball game, one of the moms brought her little tiny chihuahuas. They couldn't have weighed more than a pound or two. They were micro! Brityn was in heaven. She held them and petted them practically the entire game. She kept saying "they are so cute, huh mom." Obviously, my level of enthusiasm kept soliciting the same question, over and over again. As we were walking away, at the end of the game, she turned and looked back at the dogs/rats in the distance and said very methodically, "They really are amazing creatures."
Someone has a flair for the dramatic.
p.s. She lost her last baby tooth last night and left a note for the tooth fairy that read:
Dear Tooth Fare:
I wold like a braslit please. Like Madison L.'s.*
-Brityn
I'm sorry. Am I out of the loop? I didn't realize the T.F. took requests. She's not Santa for crying out loud! Think how silly she feels when she waltz's into the bedroom with some shiny new quarters, only to find a wish list. Outdone by that no good Santa, AGAIN!
*A few weeks ago Brityn came home and told me that Madison L. had received a tooth bracelet from the tooth fairy. It was a pretty bracelet, which she told me had all of Madison's baby teeth on it. The baby teeth had been shaped into little round ovals, with other sparkly beads added in. I about threw up in my mouth. I guess I should have seen this coming.

I do teeth for a living and am still not sure about having the real thing around my wrist. Thanks for the laugh!
ewwww...really a bracelet made of baby teeth? Who would even think about saving them to do that? Ty was so happy when he lost his first tooth, because he wanted to let it sit in a cup of soda for a month to see what happened to it! That was pretty interesting!
We as well just about threw up...our reaction was about like this(EWWWW...GROSS, WHO WOULD DO THAT) but cute little britin just loving the little animals! can't wait to see you guys in a couple of days!
Always look forward to another Britynism!!! What a cutie pie!!!
If I recall right wasn't it you that kept all your teeth in your jewelry box to show anybody interested in looking? (haha)
I will say that the bracelet thing is gross, and it makes me laugh to think that little Madison L. is probably prancing around so proud of that bracelet on her wrist, with all of the girls staring at it and wishing they all had one.
Brityn is so funny. It seems like she always has something funny coming out of that mouth of hers.
That is too funny. The bracelet kind of creeps me out, too.
Our "baby" (the puppy)is losing his teeth, too. The kids pointed out to Daddy, aka Tooth Fairy, that Shadow lost a tooth. To which Harry replied, "I'm not giving that darn dog any money for losing a tooth." What were those kids thinking?! Probably that they could somehow get ahold of that cash themselves.
Oh that is funny! The things that they come up with. I can't wait to see you guys all this weekend!
