Dear Family Room Carpet,
I cannot take it anymore. I give and I give: I vacuum you often, I clean up your stains, I keep you free of clutter, but I get nothing in return. You are curiously a magnet to my kids and their muddy, grassy feet. You flagrantly invite them to walk across you with their shoes still on. Well, I'm done. You win. I am giving you early retirment. Happy trails white carpet. You are being replaced by something hotter and sleeker.

I think I'd have to give up too. We wouldn't have made it even a week in our house with these three boys! I'm excited to see the hotter and sleeker replacement!

I feel for ya, white carpet should only be for people without kids, husbands or animals. Our white carpet was through our formal living room which you had to walk through from the front door to get to the rest of the house. I did cartwheels when we took it out. I can't wait to see the finished product.
