The shoes that wouldn't disappear

2 years ago, I purchased these velcro beauties for Boston at Walmart.  They have been through a lot as you can see.  They are Boston's #1 shoe of choice no matter what the occasion.  I have tried throwing them out several times, and they always seem to reappear.  I'm talking like literally throwing them in the trash.  I think I might have some dumpster divers.

I have tried stuffing them at the bottom of many a "donation" sack along with other unwanted items when no one was looking.  Just last week they were safe in the bottom of afore mentioned sack inside a trailer we were selling.  When the seller came to get the trailer, I took the sacks out and put them on top of the shelves in our garage.  This morning, what greets me?  Boston in these shoes.  How? Why?  It's almost creepy.

They are at least 2 sizes too small.  His poor little feet look like horse hoofs.  I seriously don't know how he can still walk in them.  Hopefully, once school starts and he is allowed to wear his new school shoes, this twilight zone nonsense will end.  Live it up velcro trashies!  It's your last hurrah.

That is really funny!! We have several items like this.. Isn't it crazy how they manage to find these things, and like you mentioned it has to be the most undesirable things. Dace has just started going through any sack that even looks like it might be either getting thrown away or taken to the D.I. Our big re-appearer is the dang yucky blanket "Fanta". Although it has not surfaced for quite some time. :)

That is hilarious! I swear kids have a sixth sense for when you're throwing out stuff you don't want them to have and they love. I hope the shoes serve his well over the next few week.
