Sunday night, my b-day, we spent in Miami. Come on, sing it with me: "Welcome to Miami, (then some spanish that I think means "welcome to miami")". I love me some Will Smith.
We stayed here. These are the grounds behind the hotel.
So pretty. I wanted to go roll around on that grass. And that's sayin' something, because I hate the feel of grass.
Just beyond the grass was this little pathway that lead to the beach. I about went down not once, but twice on this rickety baby. Heels and boardwalk do not mesh well. We ate at a little restaurant just to the left, on the beach. It's a "burger lounge" called DUNE. It was great food: Goat cheese salad, and one of the best burgers I've ever had.

WOW! What a beautiful hotel! And what a birthday!! Can't wait to see the cruise pics. PS..that grass makes me want to roll around in it too!
