Our Founders Day celebration kicked off with a performance by Corbin's school choir. Set up was in front of the "Pork Skins" concession stand. Must be a southern thing. Have you ever, in your life, uttered the words, "I'm going to run over to the concession stand and get some pork skins"? Parrot Funeral Home also had a "booth". They are probably in kahoots.

After the performance it was over to the carnival. Boston was able to go on several rides. This is a trip to get an ice cream, after he was so sad that he couldn't go on "The Hammer".

Brityn in front of the tilt-a-whirl. She went on this twice. So did I. Once with Boston and once with Brityn. I was ready to toss my pork skins after the second ride.

Fun!

Saturday morning came EARLY!! We were soaked before the race began. It was pouring rain.
