Many of you know how much I love multifunctional objects. I made such a find yesterday! To many people this may look like a normal pitcher, but it's so much more than that:
1- Gravy Boat: Normal gravy boats hold enough gravy for approximately 3 people. If I am making gravy chances are there are more than 3 people over for dinner. I don't understand the math on that one. This is a family gravy boat!
2-Decor Item: I am sort of redecorating my dining room and in the process trying to fill my hutch with useful yet beautiful items. I wanted to stick with mostly white porcelain and silver. I found this at ROSS for $5.99!!
3-Vase: When spring comes I will probably use this as a centerpiece, and fill it with flowers.
4-Pitcher: The only other pitcher I own is one I have had for 11 years. It is plastic and hunter green. It was time for an update.

I know, I know!!! Aren't these awesome?? I had to have them. They were $10 (I know you are shocked. They look like they should be so much more than that :0)). I actually chickened out when I got to the check out. I told the cashier I didn't want them. Then after she finished ringing up my other item, I thought "I really need those shoes. Never mind that I only can wear them with a limited amount of my wardrobe, and that they might not be age appropriate, I just really like them." The cashier rang them up and I left there wanting to sport them with the shorts I had on. I can't wait for fall so that I can wear them! Sometimes you just need to be a little crazy.

Oh my gosh! I LOVE those shoes and that cute pitcher/vase/gravy boat! And Harry totally agrees with you about the whole gravy boat dilemma. He never understood why 90% of the gravy has to stay in a pan on the stove and develop "skin." It is something that has vexed him every Thanksgiving and Christmas for years :c). He's probably going to make me go find one of those pitchers, too, now.
Nice finds! You can always find the good stuff!
CUTE shoes! I love them...but I thought you hated heels! They are stinking adorable!
I want some my shoe size is 7 1/2 to 8:) They are both very cute items! I think I just need to go on treasure hunt and see what I can fine:)
Love those shoes. I want to borrow them.
I love the shape of that pitcher. I love finding multifunctional items.
Cute shoes for a cute girl!
Love your treasures. And I love the deals you find. I'm feeling sorry for myself right now because it's hard to find a good deal in a small town! And I totally think the shoes are not only cute, but age appropriate too! We're not that old! Are we? Or am I only wishful thinking?
i wanna see you rock'n the shoes this sunday!!!!!
The pitcher is gorgeous. I've been giggling about a pitcher full of gravy, and I don't even know why. Maybe the thought of either of my brothers (the biggest gravy consumers I know) with their farm boy fists wrapped around that delicate handle? Just a guess.
Miss you!
Aparantly my "treasure" was a gunny sack song from my dad...so funny! I don't even remember that at all. I love checking out your blog and the rest of your family's as well. Fun to get "caught up." We had a great time with your mom and dad and Stevie, Michael, and Joey. Wish we could all get together...maybe someday. Very cute little family you have! Love your house decor on your other blog too. Very chic!
Girl , please! The yellow shoes were so much less functional! I want to see these next month when I see you!
