We had such a great afternoon decorating gingerbread houses at the rest home with Brityn's girl scout troop. Miss Rebecca, you are the best!
Boston "helping" Miss Rebecca with a gingerbread house. He stayed right next to her and didn't move a muscle (except for his hands that kept putting candy in his mouth).
These sweet older people were so happy and had a really fun time. We did too.

Wow what a great idea! Boston must be on some kinda sugar high! I am glad to know that I am not the only one with a child who knows how and when and where the candy/frosting is!
I forget about gingerbread houses at Christmas time. The girls would love doing those.
What a great experience for your kids to go to a nursing home and help out.
